Background:
South Asia Economic Summit (SAES) is the premier regional platform for debate and analysis of politico-socio-economic issues and problems facing South Asia. SAES is the first of its kind in the region that builds on and (based on robust evidence) contributes to South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summits. Since 2008, SAES has been bringing together stakeholders each year to review and reflect current issues and problems of the South Asian countries.
