The debate on civil-military relations has been a significant one in Pakistan. While Pakistan experienced the first ever democratic transition of government during general elections 2013, the balance between civil and military power continues to raise important questions. This is particularly important given Pakistan’s sensitive security situation.
In this context, the Sustainable Development Policy Institute has organized a seminar on the said subject in order to take a deeper look into the extent of balance between civil-military relations and the role of media in shaping public opinion in Pakistan. The seminar will be held on 28th April 2014 at SDPI office premises, 38 Embassy Road, G-6/3, Islamabad, 3-5 PM. You are cordially invited to join the discussion.
