Pakistan is currently in its 18th lending arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The IMF mission for Pakistan completed the first quarterly review of the 39-month arrangement made under the Extended Fund Facility for Pakistan which initiated in July 2019. Being one of the major economic issues, this facility and its review will be determining the way forward and the short-term, medium-term and long-term vision of the government with regards to the economic policy making for Pakistan.
The main observations and recommendations of the IMF mission have to be brought into notice of and discussed with the relevant stakeholders and for this purpose, SDPI has organized the subject conversation by Ms. Teresa Daban Sanchez, IMF’s Resident Representative for Pakistan.
Keeping in view your relevance with the subject matter, we would like to invite you to participate in this conversation planned for Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at SDPI office, 4th floor, Taimur Chambers, Fazal-ul-Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad from 2 pm to 4 pm followed by networking tea.
