Read more… FOOD SECIRITY DASHBOARD: On 4th Nov, SDPI has shared the first prototype of Food Security Dashboard with Dr Moeed Yousaf, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Security and Economic Outreach in the presence of stakeholders, including Ministry of National Food Security and Research. Provincial and district authorities attended the event in person or through zoom. The dashboard will help the government monitor and regulate the supply chain of essential food commodities.

Pakistan is among the most generous nations, when it comes to philanthropy, charity and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Mostly, big businesses and private sector contribute philanthropy and charity for well-being of the society through investing in education, health and peace. Considering the potential and volume, the role of private sector is very significant for social sector and community development.

It is in this regard, the SDPI is holding a special talk titled “Extended Role of Private Sector in Community Development” with renowned business leader and philanthropist, Mr. Ahmed Chinoy to highlight the role of private sector in community development and how philanthropy, charity and CSR can go a long way in delivering.
