Introduction: South Asia is witnessing realignment of politico-economic thinking patterns in the form of enhanced connectivity among China, Pakistan, Russia, Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asia. The decades old security led paradigm is being replaced by a pragmatic transition towards economic proximity. It is interesting to note that this transformation is taking place with indifference to the traditional rivalry between two nuclear powers of South Asia.
Sustainable Development Policy Institute is organizing a special seminar to generate public awareness on new politico-economic geography and build a debate driven consensus on action agenda for above mentioned reforms.

Mr. Haroon Sharif, Former Regional Economic Advisor, World Bank
H.E Mr. Jononov Sherali, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan
