With emerging shared challenges, especially in the face of complex phenomena linked with climate change, water governance, and food security have yet again signified the role of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) as a platform for regional cooperation. The cooperation on sustainable agricultural practices has also become crucial to ensure food security of millions of the people in the region, especially for the rural farming communities that are most hit and vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
Therefore, Sustainable Agriculture Action Group (SAAG) in collaboration with SDPI, HBS, Sungi Foundation, Roots for Equity, Lok Sanjh, and ActionAid Pakistan is organizing special seminar “SAARC-Challenges and Opportunities in Changing Regional Dynamics”.
