The World in 2020: Update to the New World Disorder by Dr. Adil Najam
Time Not Specified
SDPI's Seminar Hall, 3rd Floor Taimur Chambers, 10-D (WEST), Fazl-ul-Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad.
As a new year begins, Dr. Adil Najam – Dean of the Pardee School of International Affairs at Boston University, former Vice Chancellor of LUMS, and former Director of the Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future at Boston University – will look at what global politics and geopolitics looks like at the end of a decade and what this could mean for the future. He will build on lectures he gave at SDPI at the beginning of 2019 and of 2017 that looked at the then shape of global affairs. His argument is that we are already living in a “New World Disorder” and we should all expect more turmoil, not less as we peer into the future.
