Read more… FOOD SECIRITY DASHBOARD: On 4th Nov, SDPI has shared the first prototype of Food Security Dashboard with Dr Moeed Yousaf, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Security and Economic Outreach in the presence of stakeholders, including Ministry of National Food Security and Research. Provincial and district authorities attended the event in person or through zoom. The dashboard will help the government monitor and regulate the supply chain of essential food commodities.

SDPI to hold pre-budget seminar on 21st

Sustainable
Development Policy Institute (SDPI) would hold a pre-budget seminar on May 21
at 3.00 p.m. at SDPI office to address the challenges of economic growth in finalizing
fiscal budget 2013-14.

The
seminar, title `Agenda for Stabilization and Economic Growth’ would be chaired
by Dean, National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Dr. Ashfaque H.
Khan said a news release issued here on Sunday.

In
the seminar, Dr. Safia Aftab, Head, Strategic and Economic Policy Research,
Islamabad would spoke on Social Sector Challenges for Budget 2013-14, while
Mian Dr Abid Q. Suleri, Executive Director, SDPI, Islamabad would discuss
Energy Sector Challenges in Budget 2013-14 and Deputy Executive Director, SDPI,
Dr Vaqar Ahmed, would through light on Balance of Payment Challenges in Budget
2013-14.
