The overarching theme of this year’s Conference is Sustainable Development in the Times of COVID-19. Read more…       FOOD SECIRITY DASHBOARD: On 4th Nov, SDPI has shared the first prototype of Food Security Dashboard with Dr Moeed Yousaf, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on  National Security and Economic Outreach in the presence of stakeholders, including Ministry of National Food Security and Research. Provincial and district authorities attended the event in person or through zoom. The dashboard will help the government monitor and regulate the supply chain of essential food commodities.

UoP inks MoU for resource sharing

The
University of Peshawar and Sustainable Development Policy Institute Islamabad
signed a memorandum of understanding for resource sharing and launching joint
research projects.UoP Vice-Chancellor UoP Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan and SDPI
Executive Director Dr Abid Qayum Suleri signed the MoU.A press release quoting
Dr Abid said bridging gap between research and policy would be the main
objective of the MoU. He said that his organisation had experience in working
closely with policymakers. He added that they would ensure communication of the
expertise and researches being done at UoP on various issues to the policy
circles for a possible implementation.
