The programme builds on a growing body of literature on knowledge systems for public policy making in South Asia. It specifically attempts to theorize the complex and dynamic relationship between two supplier groups of policy research: think tanks and universities with the aim to identify the best practices through which external support strengthens both groups of institutions.
Objective
• To provide a better understanding of the relationships between think tanks and universities in the South Asian knowledge environment and the ways in which externally provided support may affect these relationships.
