Deputy Executive Director (Ops)

Mr Shah is an experienced development practitioner. At SDPI, he leads resource mobilization, programme design and implementation, monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance of research outputs beside supervising the core units. Previously, he has worked with United Nations World Food Programme, United Nations Development Programme and ActionAid International in managerial capacities. He has also worked with the federal government and headed Poverty Reduction Monitoring Cell in Planning & Development Department in Punjab province. His research focuses on Agriculture, Climate Change, Food Security,  Livelihoods, Social Protection, Humanitarian-Development Nexus as well as analysis of Local Governance and Policies.
