Mr Shah has been working in development sector for over 15 years. At SDPI, his responsibilities include resource mobilization, developing project implementation plans, monitoring and evaluation and quality assurance of research output. He also looks after project budgeting and expenditure with support from other relevant units. Previously, he has worked with United Nations World Food Programme, United Nations Development Programme and ActionAid International in various capacities. He also worked with the federal government and has headed Poverty Reduction Monitoring Cell in Planning & Development Department of provincial government in Punjab. Mr Shah is a PhD candidate at Wageningen University, Netherlands. His research focuses on the political economy of aid interventions in building livelihoods in post conflict areas.
