Abstract:

The paper that examines the role, contribution and decision-making power of women in crop production and livestock farming is based on case study of six villages of Pind Dadan Khan Tehsil of Jhelum district. The sample size consists of 260 respondents, who were designated on  the basis of random sampling technique from the selected villages. Quantitative and Qualitative analyses were made to cross-check results of the study. Interview schedule was employed as a data collection tool for descriptive analysis by using Excel and Statistical Software.
