Ms Saman Ahsan
Ms Saman Ahsan is a development
professional with education and work experience spanning Pakistan, Canada, United
Kingdom and Switzerland. Since 2018, she has been working with UN Women
Pakistan as Portfolio Manager for the Ending Violence Against Women,
Governance, and Human Rights Unit. In the past, she has worked for the Family
Planning Association of Pakistan, the World Economic Forum (Switzerland), the
Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria (Switzerland), and Girls Action
Foundation (Canada). She holds an MSc in Development Studies from the School of
Oriental and African Studies (University of London) and a Masters in Global
Leadership from the World Economic Forum (Switzerland). She obtained her BA in
Anthropology from McGill University (Canada) and is a Fellow of the Jeanne
Sauvé Foundation (Canada).
