Dr Saber Ahmed Chowdhury is
Chairman of the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of
Dhaka in Bangladesh. With expertise in human rights, governance, and public
policy, he holds an MPhil from the University of Bergen, Norway and PhD from La
Trobe University, Australia. Dr Chowdhury has consulted for UNDP, government
bodies, and NGOs, contributing to projects on democracy and peace, and has
published widely on human rights and democratic institutions.
