Dr Nabeel Goheer is Chief of the Asia, Middle East and Europe Region at PATH, leading programmes across South Asia, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, China and Western Europe. He has about 25 years of experience and previously spent a decade assisting and representing the Commonwealth Secretary-General on strategy, governance, partnerships and digitalisation. He has also worked with the International Labour Organization, the World Bank, the United Nations Development Programme, USAID and the Government of Pakistan. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, an MA in International Development from the International University of Japan, an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge and MIT, and a PhD in Management from the University of Cambridge.
