Dr Shen Wei is a Lead Researcher at the International Institute of Green Finance. His work covers development finance and international development, with a focus on China's influence on global low-carbon development and South–South cooperation. He was a Lead Author for the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. He has published in journals including Energy Policy, Climate Policy, Third World Quarterly, Energy Research & Social Science, and Environmental Innovation and Societal Transitions.
