Mr Ahmed Waqar Qasim is Director (Reforms) at the Board of Investment, Government of Pakistan. An economist and regulatory reform specialist, he has experience in economic research, public policy and regulatory impact assessment. He was previously a Senior Research Economist at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics. His work focuses on regulatory modernisation, reducing compliance burdens and improving Pakistan’s business and investment environment.
