Mr Amir Khan Goraya is Chief Executive Officer of the National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF), Pakistan. He has more than two decades of national and international experience in governance, development financing and institutional strengthening. Before joining NDRMF, he served with the United Nations Development Programme, most recently as Head of Governance in Cambodia. In earlier roles with the Programme, he was Assistant Resident Representative and Team Leader for the resilience, environment and climate change, crisis prevention and governance portfolios. He provided strategic and technical support to national institutions, including the Parliament of Pakistan, the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination and provincial governments.
