Mr Daminda Nallaperuma is Director (Planning – Power) at
the Ministry of Energy, Government of Sri Lanka. A senior civil
servant with over two decades of experience in state
administration and planning, he plays a leading role in Sri
Lanka's transition to sustainable energy and serves on high-
level steering committees developing national frameworks,
including the Renewable Hydrogen Policy. His career in
public service also includes strategic roles in minor export
crop promotion and industrial resource planning. Mr
Nallaperuma specialises in resource economics,
infrastructure development and macro-level energy policy.
