Mr Sheikh Waqar Ahmad

Mr Sheikh Waqar Ahmad leads Corporate Affairs and Sustainability for Nestlé Pakistan & Afghanistan, with responsibility for institutional relations, public policy engagement, stakeholder partnerships and the company’s sustainability and Creating Shared Value agenda. Before joining Nestlé, he worked as a Private Sector Specialist at the World Bank and as a Summer Scholar at the International Monetary Fund. His earlier roles include Chief Executive of TheNetwork for Consumer Protection and Executive Director of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He holds an MPA in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University and has undertaken executive programmes at the University of Nottingham and Oxford in the United Kingdom.
