Mr Syed Habib-ul-Hassan Gillani is Additional Secretary (Administration) in the Climate Change, Forestry, Environment and Wildlife Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. An officer of the Provincial Management Service from Mansehra, he joined the civil service in October 2006 and previously served as Deputy Secretary in the same department. In 2026, he led field operations and conservation drives across the province, including tree-planting campaigns using deodar and jacaranda saplings in Abbottabad, Kuza Gali, Kalam, Makhniyal Reserve Forest and Ayubia National Park. He works closely with wildlife circles and forestry formations, including the Hazara Circle, to enforce protections against poaching, combat habitat loss and strengthen climate resilience in the region.
