Ms Bolormaa Amgaabazar
Country Director for Pakistan, World Bank
Ms Bolormaa Amgaabazar is serving as the World Bank’s Country Director for Pakistan since 1 July 2025. A Mongolian national with more than two decades of international development experience, she previously served as Operations Manager for Indonesia and Timor-Leste and as Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic. Since joining the World Bank in 2004, she has worked across Asia, Africa, and Europe and Central Asia. Ms. Amgaabazar holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and a Bachelor’s degree in Trade Economics from the Lviv Institute of Trade and Economics in Ukraine.
