Ms Fernanda Thomaz da Rocha has been Representative and Country Director of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Pakistan since September 2023. She has more than 18 years of experience in finance and development programme implementation. She was previously IFAD's Senior Regional Technical Specialist for Rural Institutions and Farmers' Organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean, leading the design of investment projects. Her work includes country strategies and poverty reduction programmes in regions affected by climate change.
