Ms Maryyam Qasim Khan is an academic, policy advocate and international development professional with more than 20 years of experience in women’s economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, international trade and sustainable development. She is Vice President of the South Asian Women Development Forum, Pakistan Chapter, an Executive Committee Member of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Assistant Professor at Forman Christian College University, Lahore. She leads Pakistan’s implementation of the Feminism: Action and Mobilisation for an Inclusive Economy programme, supporting women-led enterprises through capacity building, policy advocacy and market access. A TEDx speaker and recipient of several awards, she has represented Pakistan at international forums, including the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.
