Ms Mehnaz Akbar Aziz is Chief Executive Officer of Children’s Global Network Pakistan and a former Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan (2018–23). An advocate of community voices, she has experience in bringing stakeholders together for dialogue on reform and on a holistic approach to education in policymaking. She has conceived and implemented national and provincial education and capacity-building programmes. She was previously Senior Member of the Prime Minister’s Education Task Force, Adviser to the World Bank and Founding Director of Children’s Global Network Pakistan. She has also served on the Board of Directors of Zara Sochiye, GEO Television Network, and on the Punjab Compulsory Education Commission. She holds a Master’s in Anthropology from Quaid-i-Azam University and a Master’s in Gender and Development Studies from the University of Sussex.
