Sustainability Investment Expo:

This expo, to be held on 19th and 20th November 2023 in Islamabad, aims to bring together both public and private sector players in the design, production, and management of sustainability products, services, and initiatives. Apart from these groups, development partners, including multilateral institutions wishing to invest in high-impact avenues, will also be invited. Academia, members of business associations and consumer groups, social media influencers, and media outfits will be present. Based on a rapid poll, there will be an award for the most innovative ideas presented or showcased at the expo.

Objectives:

1. B2B Deep Dives

Facilitate direct interactions and collaborations between businesses, providing a platform for companies to discuss sustainability products, and services, negotiate contracts, explore partnerships, and forge mutually beneficial relationships in order to drive growth and success in their respective industries.

2. Public Private Partnership

Cooperative arrangements between government entities and private organizations, leveraging their respective strengths and resources to jointly deliver public services, and infrastructure projects, or address societal challenges for the benefit of the community.

3. Facilitate Networking of Strategic Partners

Provide a space for businesses to connect, network, and explore potential partnerships with like-minded organizations, investors, innovators, academics, and industry experts.

4. Raise Public Awareness

Raise public awareness about the necessity of sustainable practices in all sectors and the severity of climate change.

Activities:

1. Exhibition Display Stalls:

Companies can exhibit their sustainable products and discuss the initiatives which they are taking as part of climate action with the attendees. They can also highlight the cutting-edge innovative approaches being adopted at the moment for climate action, plastic recycling, upcycling, education, health, etc.

2. Demonstrations and Interactive Displays:

It will be an opportunity to showcase their best products on screen or otherwise and initiatives to the government and the development partners.

3. Collaboration Corner:

Set aside specific areas for private and public firms, organizations, and individuals to meet and discuss potential collaboration opportunities.

4. Marketing Promotion:

SDPI can help develop partners with a comprehensive marketing promotion strategy to project the expo through mass media. Photographs, and video packages can be developed for each partner/stall, and that can be jointly disseminated. Furthermore, electronic and print media can be invited for coverage.

Our awards program aims to showcase and acknowledge those who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to sustainability across various dimensions. Case studies will be invited from organizations in different categories. The Sustainability Awards 2023 will bring together an esteemed panel of experts and thought leaders who will meticulously evaluate the nominations to ensure a fair and rigorous selection process.
