Dr Aneela Afzal is Assistant Professor at the Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
She is an expert in evaluating gender roles in the wake of changing climate, changing value chains and changing social structures. The core areas of her work revolve around inclusiveness, sustainability and local livelihood creation; and she has extensively worked in studying gender dynamics in rice, maize, sugarcane, wheat producing areas of Punjab and livestock. She is a John Dillon Fellow, and earlier worked with the Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and USAID.
