Introduction: A paper titled Towards a Stronger, Dynamic and inclusive South Asia was contributed by SDPI at the 6th South Asia Economic Summit held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from September 2 to 4, 2013. The panel on Managing Intra-Country Growth Disparities in South Asia discussed prospects of inclusive South Asia. SDPI co-organized 6th South Asia Economic Summit with Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Sri Lanka, along with other partners including Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), Bangladesh, South Asia Watch on Trade, Environment and Economics, Nepal, and Research for Information Systems for Developing Countries (RIS), India. SDPI took a high level delegation to Sri Lanka to attend a summit; the participants included Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Professor Ahsan Iqbal, Former Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission of Pakistan Dr. Nadeemul Haque, PML-N MNA Daniyal Aziz, Dean of NUST Business School Dr. Ashfaque Hassan Khan, Shafqat Munir from Oxfam (Pakistan), Dr. Abdul Saboor from Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Dr Abid Qayyum Suleri & Dr. Vaqar Ahmed from SDPI.
