Dr Rajan Sudesh Ratna is currently the Deputy Head of the South and South-West Office of UN ESCAP in New Delhi, a position he has held since August 2018. He leads research, policy advisory initiatives, and capacity-building efforts to help countries accelerate their progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
