Dr Sayyed Jaffer Ahmad is Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Sohail University and serves as the Director of the Institute of Historical and Social Research, Karachi. He specialises in government and politics in Pakistan, the history of the freedom movement, and contemporary socio-political issues.
