Engr. Ahad Nazir is Head of the Centre for Private Sector Engagement at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), Pakistan. With extensive experience in both public and private sectors, he has held project management roles at leading international energy companies, including China National Petroleum Corporation (PetroChina), KSB Pumps Co. Ltd., and Orient Energy Systems. His expertise covers various forms of energy generation, project management, and private sector engagement. Mr Nazir holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences & Technology and a Master’s in Project Management from Bahria University, along with global project management certifications like PMP and PRINCE2. At SDPI, he leads efforts on economic reforms, trade, and sustainable development through multi-stakeholder collaboration.
