Mr Jamal Shah is Chairman of Hunerkada College of Visual & Performing Arts and a former Caretaker Minister of National Heritage & Culture with the Government of Pakistan. With over four decades of experience, he has made significant contributions across various art forms, including visual arts, theatre, and cultural policy, becoming a prominent advocate for Pakistan’s artistic and cultural development. Mr Shah holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Balochistan (1978), is a graduate of the National College of Arts, Lahore (1983), and also has a Master’s in Fine Arts from the Slade School of Fine Art, London.
