
Mr Amir Khan Goraya is currently working as Assistant Resident Representative at UNDP. He also leads the democratic governance portfolio, providing technical assistance to key Pakistani institutions including the Parliament, Election Commission of Pakistan, Ministry of Planning, and provincial governments. With over 15 years of experience, his expertise spans democratic governance, government relations, regional partnerships, and election observation. His background includes roles as a civil servant within the Government of Pakistan, managing donor-funded projects focused on parliamentary strengthening, elections, devolution, citizen empowerment, anti-corruption, and gender issues. Additionally, Mr Goraya has contributed scholarly work on subjects such as federalism, democratic stability, leadership, and conflict resolution.
