Dr Moeed W. Yusuf is Vice Chancellor (President) of Beaconhouse National University in Lahore, Pakistan. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center at Harvard University’s Kennedy School. Dr Yusuf previously served as National Security Advisor (NSA) to the Prime Minister of Pakistan with the rank of a Federal Minister. He was Pakistan’s youngest NSA and is credited with leading the process of formulating the country’s first National Security Policy. He has published widely in national and international journals, professional publications and magazines. His publications include ‘Insurgency and Counter Insurgency, Getting it Right in Afghanistan’ and ‘Brokering Peace in Nuclear Environments.’
