
Dr Muhammad Shahid Soroya, Director General of the Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE), is a senior educationist, researcher, and policy expert with over 20 years of leadership in Pakistan’s education sector. He has also served as the Vice Chancellor of Lahore Leads University, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University, and DG of the Punjab Higher Education Commission. He led key national reforms, including the National Education Policy Framework 2024, curriculum revisions, LaNA-2023, and the National Achievement Test-2023. A recipient of Turnitin’s Global Academic Integrity Award, he founded Pakistan’s first National Center for Academic Integrity.
