
Dr Ngamindra Dahal is the Chairperson of the Nepal Water Conservation Foundation (NWCF). He also serves as a Senior Research Fellow and former Executive Director at the Southasia Institute of Advanced Studies (SIAS), and is a Member of the Executive Board of the Climate Action Network South Asia (CANSA). His areas of expertise include water management, meteorology, hydrology, disaster management, and climate change, with a particular interest in the application of biochar. His professional experience also encompasses change management, strategic planning, and new business development. Dr Dahal holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Science from Kathmandu University and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Meteorology from Tribhuvan University.
