Dr Sajid Amin Javed is Deputy Executive Director and founding head of Policy Solutions Lab at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), Pakistan. He was Global Team Lead of the 2nd edition of Southern Voice’s Global State of the SDGs report ‘Leveraging Abilities to Navigate Inequalities’ (2024). He has also led teams for SDGs localisation in Pakistan. Currently he is leading three governance reforms programmes, namely Data for Development (D4D), Debt and Development and Political Economy of Financing Public Service Delivery. He is also leading provincial public expenditure reviews. Broadly, Dr Amin  studies intersections between public finance architecture, macroeconomic policies and sustainable development
