Dr Syed Arsalan Haider serves as the Director of the Tobacco Control Cell (TCC) within the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination (MoNHSR&C), Government of Pakistan. In this capacity, he plays a leading role in implementing and advancing Pakistan’s commitments under the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC).

Dr Haider’s work focuses on combating illicit tobacco trade, strengthening tobacco control policies, and promoting public health initiatives aimed at reducing tobacco use and its health impacts across the country.
