
Hasani Rajapaksha is a Research Professional at the Centre for Poverty Analysis (CEPA), Sri Lanka, under the Natural Resources and Climate Change thematic area. Currently, at CEPA, she contributes to nationally and internationally funded projects while applying quantitative and qualitative research methods, participatory approaches and evidence-based policy analysis in the fields of food security, climate change and sustainable development. With over eight years of research experience, Ms Rajapaksha has worked with the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute (HARTI). She recently completed her M.Phil. in Agricultural Economics at the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture (PGIA), University of Peradeniya where her research focused on total factor productivity and technical efficiency in food and agricultural systems. She also holds a B.Sc. in Agricultural Technology and Management specialising in Applied Economics and Business Management from the University of Peradeniya
