Imran Shauket is the Founder and Chairman of the JOBS Group, an association of for-profit and non-profit entities with work in Pakistan, the United States, Japan, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Africa. He is also the Convener of ‘Pakistan & South Asia: Towards Progress, Prosperity and Peace’ initiative. An entrepreneur turned development professional, he has built organisations focused on private sector growth, human capacity development, and employment generation. He has launched enterprises in hospitality, finance, consulting, real estate, and agriculture, while also founding social initiatives, including JOBS Trust Pakistan, JOBS Trust Bangladesh, and Miracles Trust.
Imran Shauket has also served as Senior Advisor to the Government of Pakistan and as a consultant to international organisations such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations (UN), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). He is also Senior Advisor at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) and an Ambassador for Buddhist Heritage Promotion for the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). He has authored more than 50 articles on development issues.
