Mr. Kanchan Mani Dixit, is th Executive Director at the Institute for Social and Environmental Transition-Nepal (ISET-Nepal), a policy research think tank in Nepal. Research experience in water, urban agriculture, disaster risk reduction and management, climate change adaptation, and resilience building. Extensive participation in local interaction, field visits, and capacity-building programs. Coordinated/managed projects like The Think Tank Initiative, IDRC, Canada, Political Economic Analysis of Koshi River funded by The Asia Foundation, and Spring Source Assessment in Karnali River Basins funded by USAID-Karnali Water Activity, Spring Source Assessment in Karnali River Basin funded by USAID-Karnali Water Activity. In 2022, carried out a performance audit of the Climate Change program and Policies of the Forest and Environment Ministry of Nepal as a consultant appointed by the Auditor General Office Nepal. Also a team member of the communication team that produced the book "Strengthening Policy Research: Role of Think Tank Initiative in South Asia, published by SAGE Publishing India in 2019.
