Mr Shrestha is a committed advocate for people-centred sustainable development with over a decade of experience advancing the SDGs at local, national, regional, and global levels. Regionally, he serves as the South and South-West Asia Focal Point for Asia Pacific Regional CSO Engagement Mechanism (APRCEM), member of Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) National Coordination’s Group, and coordinator of the South Asia Peoples’ Forums. Globally, he represents Asia in Action for Sustainable Development (A4SD).
As former National Convener and current Advisor of the SDGs National Network Nepal, he has led civil society engagement, and co-authored national spotlight reports. Recognised for linking grassroots realities to international platforms, he amplifies the voices of communities often left unheard.
