Muhammad Mateen Farooq is a senior investment banker with 16+ years of experience across Pakistan’s leading commercial and investment banks. Currently serving as EVP & Head of the Investment Banking Group (IBG) at The Bank of Punjab, he oversees all origination and execution activities across Capital Markets, Syndications, Equity Advisory, and Project Finance. He has also structured and led execution of multiple market-first and development-linked transactions, including Pakistan’s first localised Skill Impact Bond (PSIB), the Punjab Skills Development Sukuk, and a proposed Green Sukuk for Affordable Housing
