Pernille Ironside, UNICEF Representative in Pakistan since July 2025, leads the 2023–2027 Country Program supporting Pakistan’s National Development Plan. A Canadian national with over 20 years at UNICEF, she has served in senior roles across Nigeria, Iraq, Gaza, and Headquarters. A licensed lawyer, she holds a Master’s in Law from Columbia University specialising in human rights and humanitarian law.
