Professor Dr Nadia Tahir

Professor Dr Nadia Tahir is an economist, educator, and policy expert with over two decades of experience in academia, public administration, and institutional development. She has taught at the postgraduate level in several public and private universities across Pakistan.

Dr Tahir has served at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, where she represented the Commission on university syndicates, and in the Standing Committees of the Senate and National Assembly. She has also participated in numerous international conferences. In addition, she has worked with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), contributing to academic-industry linkages and economic policy dialogue. Her research has been published in several national and international journals, and she is a frequent public speaker, often invited to contribute to media discussions on economic and educational issues.

Dr Nadia Tahir obtained her PhD in Economics from Government College University (GCU), Pakistan, and completed her postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
