Sadaf Zulfiqar is the OIC (Officer-in-Charge) Chief, Social Policy at the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), Pakistan. She is a development professional with more than 16 years of experience in managing, designing, and leading programmes on social protection, education, gender, and governance. She has extensive experience of working with national public sector institutions, donor agencies, civil society groups, and development partners in complex policy and humanitarian environments. She is leading the Social Policy programme at UNICEF and managing provincial programmes on adaptive social protection, public finance for children, and disability inclusion. Prior to UNICEF, she worked with United States Agency for International Development, United Nations Development Programme, and Save the Children. She holds a postgraduate degree in Development Studies and International Relations from Iqra University, Pakistan
