Sakib Sherani has wide ranging experience in public policy, the financial sector, international capital markets, at the corporate board-level, and in the development sector.
He has served on the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council (EAC) and its variants on several occasions under different governments since 2004. He remained the Principal Economic Adviser to the Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan between 2009 and 2010.
