Urwa Naeem

Urwa Naeem is a young activist and development practitioner serving on the Government of Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s National Youth Council. She advises the Malala Fund through its Young Women’s Advisory Council and is a Girl Programme Fellow. As Program Coordinator for Research & Advocacy at the Pakistan Coalition for Education (PCE), she leads education policy advocacy and grassroots mobilisation. Ms Naeem represents PCE in the Brookings Network for Education Systems Transformation (NEST) and founded the Young Education Changemakers Network (YECN). She is pursuing an MPhil in Development Studies from Pakistan Institute of Development Economics.
