Mr Javed has been associated with SDPI since August 1993. As head of Ahmed Saleem Resource Centre, he is responsible for managing the resource centre, including acquisition, cataloguing, classification and circulation of research material. He is also responsible for developing and updating library database on regular basis, in addition to disseminating information that is received through SDPI publications and advocacy campaigns. He has developed a virtual library for the Institute as well as linkages with national and international information resources.
Prior to joining SDPI, he had worked with Committee on Research and Analysis, Prime Minister's Secretariat, Islamabad, and Gallup Pakistan in different capacities from information resource management to compilation and dissemination of advocacy material. In 2018, SDPI gave him Performance Excellence Award for his hard work and dedication to achieve the goals of the Institute.
