Senior Data Analyst
Dr. Aqib is an accomplished data analyst, survey expert, and climate researcher with over nine years of experience in large-scale data collection, statistical analysis, and field research. He specializes in climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture, socio-economic research, governance, and monitoring & evaluation. Having worked extensively in Sindh, he has led household surveys, climate adaptation assessments, and socio-economic studies, producing high-quality data and actionable policy insights. As a Senior Data Analyst at Research and Development Solutions (RADS) in Islamabad, he managed field surveys across Sindh and Punjab, including a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-funded project on family planning and health. Skilled at training enumerators, developing sampling frameworks, and implementing real-time data monitoring, he is proficient in advanced analyses such as Multivariate Binary Logistic Models, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Factor Analysis, and Difference-in-Difference analysis using STATA, SPSS, and EViews. Dr. Aqib also has significant experience in governance and institutional research, supporting qualitative and mixed-method evaluations on policy implementation and accountability, with expertise in NVivo for coding and analyzing data from interviews, focus groups, and process documentation. His PhD research at Near East University in Cyprus focused on climate adaptation strategies in flood-prone rural and marginalized urban communities in Pakistan, highlighting gender disparities in climate perception, adaptation intentions, and resilience-building. He has collaborated with government agencies and international organizations including the Ministry of Climate Change, GCISC, LASOONA, GIZ, and Islamic Relief Pakistan, contributing to climate transparency, governance reform, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
